Want to play in a $25,000 online poker freeroll? Sun Poker has leader boards for the most frequent players, as well as the best players:

1. My Poker Points (MPPs) Leader Board: features the players that won the most MPPs. Results are not important, but only the points acquired playing cash games or tournaments. The top 500 players in a month get a free entry to the monthly $25,000 Leader Board Tournament.

2. Tournament Leader Board: features the top tournament players, based on their results. The top 400 players in a month get a free entry to the $25,000 Leader Board Tourney.

3. Head Hunter Challenge Leader Board: players of head hunter tournaments have scores based on how many opponents they knocked out of the tournaments. These players are featured on this leader board, and the top 100 in a month get entries to the monthly Leader Board Tourney.

You can check your place on each leader board by going to “requests” in the Sun Poker software.

Huge World Series of Poker Satellite Freeroll: $300,000

$300,000 in WSOP* packages! This year Sun Poker repeats the successful promotion of last year giving 25 packages to the World Series of Poker* Main Event.

The Mega Freeroll will take place on May 2008, with 25 $12,000 package for grabs. The great thing about this promotion is that you have 25 chances to win a package. Most poker rooms offer WSOP* freerolls but they usually award the package only for the winner of such events. In these cases, if you play for hours and finish second for a bad beat or two, you go home with nothing.

All you have to do is play and get your My Poker Points (MPPs). If you manage to get 10 or 20 MPPs in a day, you can buy-in for free on the satellites to the daily final. If you acquire more points, you can buy-in directly in better freerolls, as explained below.

Satellites to Daily Final: Two with buy-in of 10 MPPs and two with 20 MPPs buy-in.

Daily Final (satellite to Weekly Final): Buy-in directly with 200 MPPs, or gain entry with satellites.

Weekly Final (satellite to the Mega Freeroll): Saturdays, buy-in directly with 2000 MPPs, or gain entry with the daily satellites.

The 29th of February only happens once in four years. This one is going to be a great day in Sun Poker, where there will be a $30,000 Guaranteed tournament. The buy-in is $100+$9, a bit high for most players, but satellites are running everyday.

Another good thing about this tournament will be the starting stack, 4000 chips for extended play.

Sun Poker is offering this month a Valentine’s Day special freeroll.
It will happen on February 14th 2008 at 8:30pm UK time, and the prize pool is very substancial:
